It was 1960, the years of La Dolce Vita, when founder Sion Mordakhai opened his first oriental rug shop in Bologna's prestigious Galleria Cavour. The unique character of the bags lies in the fabric, IKAT. Each piece is carefully selected, entirely handmade and woven on looms in Uzbekistan. This sense of beauty has led the brand to adapt to modern times, producing contemporary items with colourful fabrics that bring together distant histories and traditions.
Starting with cushions that combine the colours of silk and velvet, the brand has expanded into the production of small accessories such as bags, blending tradition with the joy and colours of the Orient with IKAT velvets.
