STORY OF THE BRAND

Since 2008, Estelle Vergez has been designing her own collections of clothing and accessories. In 2006, a friend showed Estelle Vergez a small zipped bag from Brazil. Inspired by this object, Estelle decided to develop it by improving the quality of manufacture and finishing, and by creating fashionable models and colours to suit every need. Zip'Up was born, combining functionality with a personalised aesthetic.

Zip'Up is distinguished by its distinctive cone-shaped packaging, which provides a unique experience upon unpacking. The products are crafted by hand on traditional machines, in close collaboration with skilled artisans over fifteen years. The brand utilises premium YKK zips and offers a five-year guarantee on its products.

We select makers who reveal fragments of our shared culture through colour, texture and form, transforming everyday objects into timeless pieces of art.

In a world dominated by mass brands, many independent creators stay unseen and people miss out on unique, inspiring work. maëtaï bridges that gap. We bring visibility to small artisans and designers, offering a space where individuality and creative freedom can shine.

From hand-woven textiles to sculptural jewellery, every piece carries a story of human connection, cultural heritage and creative independence.
We make accessible what you would normally discover by chance, during travels, in small ateliers, or at local markets, and bring it all together in one place, for everyone, everywhere.
How many brands are we working with ?

We collaborate with 7+ independent brands, and we add new creatives every month.
Why are the pieces ‘unique’?

Most of the items are crafted by hand in small batches, inside independent studios. When a piece sells out, it often doesn’t come back.
Is shipping really free?

Yes, free shipping on the entire site, no surprise fees at checkout.
How long does shipping take?

Orders usually ship within 48 hours to 5 working days, depending on the brand. Each creator prepares and sends the product directly.
And delivery times?

Most orders arrive in 5–10 business days, depending on your country and the creator.
Can I return my order?

Yes, we work with a 14-day return policy, giving you 14 days after delivery to request a return. However, since we partner with independent brands, each brand handles returns and refunds according to its own terms. 

To be eligible, items must be returned in the same condition as received, unused, with tags and original packaging. You will need your receipt or proof of purchase. Once the brand receives and inspects the item, we will notify you of their decision. If approved, refunds will be processed within 10 business days, but note your bank may take longer.
Are all items returnable?

Not always. Some pieces are marked as non-returnable in the brand’s description, usually because they are unique, handmade, or produced in very limited quantities.

Where do the products come from?

Our items are sourced from independent creators across Europe and beyond, including Italy, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and more.
Will all my items arrive together?

Not always. Because we work with multiple designers, your order may arrive in separate packages.
